A view of Froghall Wharf at the terminus of the Caldon Canal, taken from the bridge next to it. The opening on the right used to lead to an inner basin but this was filled in and replaced by railway sidings in the 1840s. In its day, this was a busy industrial site: now it's a car park and picnic area.
